We’ve just completed the design and build of a web version of the University of Edinburgh’s Edit magazine.
Edit is the University of Edinburgh’s prestigious alumni magazine which is distributed globally to the ever-increasing network of University graduates. To date, it reaches an impressive 150,518 people in 188 countries.
In the online version we’ve maintained the fresh and contemporary approach to the design of the printed magazine and have added several interactive features to encourage readers to engage with the publication.
Visitors to the website can watch short web movies, share content via social media, whilst being able to read articles from the publication on a range of browsing devices including smartphones, tablets, as well as desktop computers.
This edition of Edit was focused on sustainability and the online version includes an article on the path taken ten years ago when the University of Edinburgh became the UK’s first fair-trade university; as well as interviews with Spyros Kizis, the founder of Artichair, a company producing products and materials from the natural environment of Greece; as well as Stephen Fitzpatrick, founder of Ovo Energy who won widespread plaudits recently for attacking the pricing policies of the “big six” energy suppliers.
You can visit the online version of Edit on your smartphone, tablet or desktop computer.
