We’re very excited to announce that we’ve been working with Historic Scotland as part of the Scottish Ministers’ marketing services framework to provide design services. One of our first projects has involved working with them to promote their range of venues for corporate entertaining.
Be Our Guest – Providing Design to Historic Scotland
Historic Scotland is responsible for managing over 300 visitor attractions in Scotland. This includes the prestigious Edinburgh Castle, Stirling Castle and Argyll’s Lodging which are all popular locations for a variety of corporate events including dinner, drinks receptions and traditional Scottish evenings with pipers and clan battles.
Our brief was to design a corporate brochure that would promote these exclusive and prestigious venues. We wanted to convey the fantastic experience that can be provided to corporate customers. We also needed to ensure that we provided events organisers with all the information they need to make a decision on a venue and a room.
Our approach was to design a brochure that showcases the beautiful venues, bringing them to life using photography. This gives a sense of the stunning rooms; as well as their grandeur and versatility as locations for corporate events. We used a grid format which made it easy to transition the brochure from a printed to digital format to make it easy for Historic Scotland to send out pdfs of specific venues following enquiries from corporate customers.
