Our recent work has included creating a series of infographics for the Future of the UK and Scotland, a programme that brings the best of UK social science to the debate about Scotland’s constitutional future and its implications for the rest of the UK. The debate is focused in particular on the referendum question that will be posed on 18 September 2014: ‘Should Scotland be an independent country?’.
Our work initially involved the creation of a website that aimed to provide an authoritative and independent reference point for those looking for information and insights about the future of the UK and Scotland. To add to the range of online tools available for those wishing to become more informed about the debate the Future of the UK and Scotland team asked us to create a series of infographics that would be visually engaging as well as providing a simple guide to one of the key topics within the debate with statistics and key facts to help people understand more about the particular issue.
To date, we have created a series of infographics covering a range of topics including the referendum itself, defence, foreign policy and the EU.
